USA: Trump supporters protest in Atlanta as Georgia announces recount

Supporters of US President Donald Trump who is running for re-election, rallied outside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, on Friday, as Georgia announced a recount of votes after the presidential race was deemed too close to call.

“He’s a businessman. He looks at the money. He looks at the treasury, he looks at our pocket, it’s the country’s pocket, what money goes in, what money goes out. That’s why we cut the expenses so we keep the money for this country because we need this country to come up,” said a Trump supporter.

The recount was announced after Joe Biden overtook Trump in Georgia, historically a Republican stronghold.
